Funded Programmes

 


Business London Programme (BLP)

BLP programme is funded by the London Development Agency (LDA) and led and managed by West London Business (WLB). Its objective is:

 

  • To provide free business advice to start-up and micro businesses and encourage entrepreneurial activity
  • Organise one day workshops and/or one to one counselling sessions, generally lasting one day

 


Department of Works and Pensions (DWP) Programme

The DWP Programme objective is:

  • To promote enterprise to unemployed people
  • To support new business start-ups


E-Innovate Programme (EIP)

 

 

EIP is funded under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) which is administered by the LDA and managed by WLB for the West London area. Its objective is:

 

  • To encourage SMEs to adopt and implement innovation and environmental best practice inorder to improve their business performance

 


Southall Business Centre (SBC)

This project is led by the London Borough of Ealing and provides subsidised office space for new and small businesses in the heart of Southall.

 

GBC supports SBC’s new and existing small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) by providing free and subsidised business support advice and guidance and related services.

 


Gateway Asia (GA) www.gateway-asia.co.uk

 

GA is funded under ERDF and managed by WLB. GBC is a strategic and delivery partner in GA. GA’s objectives are:

  • To help identify and provide business opportunities in new and emerging economies, especially India and China
  • To organise trade missions
  • To provide coaching and mentoring for SMEs looking for joint ventures in emerging markets
